Phasmophobia: Deja Vu Weekly Challenge

June 10th – June 16th 2024

The Phasmophobia Deja Vu weekly challenge throws players back to the early days of the game with a unique set of restrictions. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to conquer this challenge and earn those sweet bonus rewards.

Challenge Rules

  • Limited Equipment: The Deja Vu challenge restricts players to a mix of Tier 1 and Tier 2 equipment, making it a test of your ghost hunting skills rather than relying on high-tech gadgets.
  • No Dots Projector: This key piece of equipment, which usually helps pinpoint the ghost’s location. For ghosts such as the Goryo you will have to pay attention to the ghost’s behaviour to see if it is constantly hunting from the same room.
  • Tanglewood Location:The challenge takes place in the eerie Tanglewood street house. It’s a small house, ideal for beginners but be warned, and avoid being cornered by a Deogen.

Tips for Success

  • Communication is Key: With the D.O.T.S. Projector missing, teamwork and clear communication are crucial, and paying attention to the ghost’s speed and behaviours.
  • Embrace Classic Techniques:Dust off your old ghost hunting methods like relying on temperature readings and EMF readings to identify the ghost room.
  • Listen Closely:The ghost’s activity will be your primary indicator of its location. Pay attention to footsteps, ghost orbs, and spirit box responses.
  • Be Cautious:The lack of advanced equipment puts you at a greater risk during hunts. Be mindful of your sanity and use hiding spots strategically. Remember you can’t sprint, so keep an eye on your sanity level and always have a route to a hiding spot.
